  • - Implemented the next evolution of GE Aviation's Technical Publications container development strategy by designing and migrating existing solution to a fully cloud native CI/CD pipeline meant to reduce external dependencies and overhead. This solution was designed completely as "infrastructure as code" and enabled the team to not only embody a DevOps mindset, but also empowered them to custom tailor and mold the technologies to their development and service needs.
  • - Responsible for working with development teams throughout the customer portal space to design and architect IAM needs based on service design and service needs. This included walking through architecture and determining any necessary service roles and respective policy alteration or creation.
  • - Digital Technology Solution's org representative for the Digital Technology Leadership Program (DTLP). Worked with team leaders throughout the space and aligned roles and positions wtihin the organization to rotating members with the intention to challenge and grow skillsets of on-program individuals.
  • GE Aviation - Sr. Software Engineer- (2017-2019)
  • - Architected and designed internal self-service tool enabling data engineers and other interested parties to schedule data ingestion into enterprise scale Greenplum data lake for analytical consumption.
  • - Developed supporting ETL job(s) that managed and handled the user requested data ingestion and scheduled function executions. These jobs were written to scale horizontally and run in parallel supporting 300+ function executions and data set ingestions.
  • - Established a streamlined and user friendly experience by gatherings and culminating user feedback and suggestions. Built that enabled users to easily create and manage their scheduled data ingestion and other supported data manipulation functions.
  • - In addition to daily responsibilities, I was also the assignment leader for both a collegiate intern and a new member of the Digital Technology Leadership Program. In this role, I was responsible for general guidance within the company, but also responsible for onboarding them to the team by guiding them through the team's development patterns, breaking down the services architecture and the general technical landscape, and mentoring them from a development standpoint so that they were able to successfully contribute features to the product.
  • GE Aviation - ETL Data Eng. (2016-2017)
  • - Generated ~$45 million in savings and productivity by meeting org goal of ingesting 100 + siloed application's data sets into the Aviation data lake enabling analysis on engine data and performance metrics to better predict when engine servicing was required.
  • - Refactored Talend ETL job to efficiently handle ~4000-5000 flight records per hour; increasing original runtime efficiency by ~433%.
  • - Led cross functional working sessions with leadership programs within Aviation on Data Lake technology, processes, and road map.
